HANS T. THORSEN
Born in Denmark 1943

Mechanical Engineering College in Denmark to 1966. Sea going Marine Engineer for Danish owner to 1971. Marine Superintendent for Danish owners to 1978. Ships and Engine Surveyor for S.A. company to 1984. Established Allsurvey Marine (Pty) Ltd. in 1984 as a Consulting Engineering and Marine Surveyor Company.

Established Allsurvey Industrial (Pty) Ltd. in 1986 as a Consulting Engineering and Project Management Organisation, now also offering other services to the marine industry. Founding member of Associated Marine Engineers (Pty) Ltd. in 1989 as a Consortium of specialist marine contractors for building, outfitting, conversion and refurbishing of vessels.

LARS E. THORSEN
Born in Denmark 1970

Graduated fitter and turner in marine engineering works in 1990. South African Navy to 1991. Managed a small Yacht maintenance and refit company till 1992. Established Marine Equipment shop in 1992 and built it up to a substantial business during 1993, when the shop was taken over and incorporated with a larger Marine Equipment shop, which he then managed to 1994.

Established All Marine Exports (Pty) Ltd. in 1994 and built the company up to where it is a substantial exporter of boats and equipment to the Marine Industries in African countries. This company was amalgamated with Allsurvey Industrial in January 1997, when both services were integrated. Became shareholder and appointed Director in Allsurvey Industrial (Pty) Ltd. in January 1997.

ELIN M. THORSEN
Born in Denmark 1945

Business College completed in Denmark 1978. Operated own business in South Africa to 1984. Appointed Secretary to Allsurvey Marine in 1984 and Accountant from 1986. Appointed Accountant to Allsurvey Industrial in 1987 and to Associated Marine Engineers in 1990. Appointed Financial Director to Allsurvey Industrial (Pty) Ltd. in 1996.
